We’re excited to share some wonderful news!
Beginning in 2010, the Enstrom’s Rocky Mountain Open will be held at Tiara Rado GC & Bookcliff CC.
What a credit it is to the City of Grand Junction, the members and board of directors at Bookcliff CC that they continued to show interest in the ERMO and that they worked together to find a way to host the oldest “open” tournament in the state on two championship,18 hole golf courses - in Grand Junction.
- Much work to is still to be done by Rob Stong, the City’s Director of Golf, Mike Mendelson, BCC’s head professional, tournament sponsors and by our board – but, you can just feel the excitement about what this means for the tournament and for the Golf Foundation’s ability to fund scholarships.
- We also hope to enhance the relationships with the Colorado Section PGA and the Colorado Golf Association to promote the ERMO as a premier state/regional event.
- And if we all didn’t think that was enough . . . the City is in the process of a $3,500,000 upgrade at Tiara Rado. WOW - - - can’t wait to see what happens when players tee it up on this baby!!
Stay tuned for more exiting news in 2010!

This year, the Enstrom’s Rocky Mountain Open will be played for the 72nd time, but for the first time, competitors won’t tee it up at Lincoln Park. The longest-running open tournament in Colorado will instead be played at a revamped Tiara Rado Golf Course and at Bookcliff Country Club.
The open in recent years has been played at Lincoln Park and Tiara Rado. This is the first year Bookcliff Country Club will host a day’s play of the tourney.
